Within our production process, we work with suppliers who offer certified textile options, such as OEKO-TEX® and GOTS. These certifications stand for safety, strict testing for harmful substances, and responsible textile production.

We work with bamboo, cotton, and microfibre — each with its own unique properties, so there is a suitable option for everyone. On this page, you can see exactly which materials we use for each model and why we choose them.
Bamboo feels like a second skin. It is incredibly soft, breathable, and naturally antibacterial. This means a fresh and comfortable feel, without irritation. We choose bamboo because it perfectly aligns with what we value: a natural material that is gentle on your body and comfortable to wear on the days you need it most.
Cotton is familiar, soft, and always a reliable choice. It allows your skin to breathe, feels natural, and is gentle on sensitive skin. We only use certified cotton, so you can be sure you’re wearing something that’s good for you and responsibly produced. Comfort, safety, and softness — exactly what you can expect from Lunã.
Microfibre feels light, smooth, and seamless against your skin. It is made from fine polyester or nylon fibres that are breathable, quick-drying, and shape-retaining. It’s a conscious choice. Because it lasts a long time and can be washed again and again, it enables reusable underwear you can truly rely on. In this way, microfibres contribute to less waste, lower consumption, and greater comfort.

The protective layer in our absorbent core is made from breathable TPU. This material is specifically chosen because it blocks moisture while still allowing air to pass through. This keeps the underwear feeling fresh and dry, even at times when your body demands more.
This layer is essential to how our underwear works. TPU ensures that moisture is quickly drawn into the core and safely locked away.
Without this layer, the underwear simply wouldn’t be able to deliver on its promise: providing you with comfort, hygiene, and reliable protection, day after day.
